For those who did not see CJS's post, it contained:

"Well, between games, I briefly sat by Dave and I did ask him if he was going to play in the Kenner later. Dave said he hurt his wrist badly in June and he needs corrective surgery on it. The surgery is scheduled for July and then he needs rehabilitative work on it. As an optomist I see him returning to the team in late 2012 in time to practive for the A-10 portion of the schedule. As a pessimist I would venture that Dave might be out for the season. Let's all stay optomistic as I would hate to see Dave's GW career end before it begins its last lap".

Now for my comments...Oh Shit, what the fuck?  We needed him in the front court to continue to progress.  Anyone know the chances of redshirting him at this stage of his GW career?

Michael, please dial back the crisis mode. Just a point of fact, there are a number of injuries--even corrected by surgery--that have the player back on the court within two weeks. The lack of information on the injury suggests to me that your concern is much greater than the program's. In addition, let me point out that this is early July and the season doesn't get kicked off until November. Of all the guys on GW, the one who's game was closer to where we need him for the upcoming season, that would be David Pellom.  Color me way less concerned as some, here.

With reluctance and NO FACTS, Mrs. herve has decided to render a diagnosis:

Walked by Pellom yesterday and he had a sling and a cast so hopefully that's all the surgery he needs
