cagwu says:
1 (Taylor)↓ = 1
2 (Ware)↓ 2 (King)↑ 2 (Allbritton) 2 (Smith) 2 (Branch) 2 (Johnson) 2 (Kromah) = 7
3 (Hollis)↓ 3 (Pellom) = 2
4 (Edwards)↓ 4 (Warren) = 2
5 (Katuka) 5 (Opoku) = 2
I would put Travis King as a PG. Obviously he was a little slow for a pg last year because of the knee problems. But I think a year of off season trainging and work on his point skills, he'll be fine as a combo guard.
Dywane Smith and Aaron Ware are both SF type players for GW. Athletic wing guards who can score in low and on drives but not good shooters.
Let's say Mat Allbritton will be leaving. Branch probably not comming. Branch would be a shame as he's the highest rated SG of the Johnson, Kromah, Branch trioka of SGs. It's surprising we haven't heard anything yet or that he announced another school. Maybe he's going the Prep school route as well and he'll be on Hobbs' list for net year.
Hollis will have to get most of his minutes at the PF spot as the other bigs (Edwards, Warren, Katuka and Opoku) clearly do not add up to 80 minutes of playing time. Katuka = 20-25; Warren = 17-20; Edwards = 10-12; Opoku = 0. That's about 55 minutes total so Hollis will be needed for about 25 as a PF.
PG: Taylor and King (combo)
SG: Johnson, King, Kromah, Branch (or another mystery recruit)
SF: Smith, Ware and a little of Hollis
PF: Hollis, Warren and Pellom
C: Katuka, Edwards and Opoku
