OK, SJT. If that is true then how do you justify letting the Olean School of Higher Welding get off with no further conference penalies this season (just the NCAA ones)? I think conference schools should have been given the option of not playing the University of Quitters and that the U of Q should not have been allowed to have its games counted in the conference standings this year and should be kept OFF the A-10 TV package. I know the coach and school president are both gone but the institution as a whole needs to be taught a lesson about keeping sports in perspective. That won't happen if the conference's response is "we stand by our members" or whatever the wishy-washy statement they made in June was.
BTW, I think that geography aside SLU is a good addition to the A-10. Sadly, I haven't heard any SLU officials talking about relocation, so my suggestion is they put some pro sports teams owners on the SLU board...
