You can say what you want about Tony's comments towards GW and how accurate or fair they are, but the man is very qualified to make those comments. There's a reason he has a column in the Washington Post, he's on Sports Reporters, he hosts PTI, he's been a radio success, and he was just chosent to help host Monday Night Football.
Although he's a passionate and ecitable enthusiast, he has maintained a venerable stature amongst sports intelligentsia. I'd liken him very much to a Mike Lupica--somebody who tends to write in the moment and with emotions of fans, and says what those sports fans are thinking. The nature of that kind of writing sometimes leads people to make bold claims and such, but thats part of the fun of it.
If GW was in the Big East, I'd say we're behind UConn, Nova, Pittburgh, Georgetown, and WVU but ahead of Marquette, Cuse, Cincy, Seton Hall. That puts us in the tournament and probably at around the same seeding. Of course we probably we wouldn't be in the top 25 though....but then again, polls are just a bunch of coaches opinions.
