I have followed GWHoops from all over the globe. Recently, I visited Milford Sound then turned to port and visited Stewart Island. Where am I.

That's really cool, Cutis. Milford Sound looks amazing.  Are there any residents on Stewart island? You can see some homestead type places on Google Earth. It also looks like there are numerous hidden paradise beaches all around the island. Safe travels!

Please don't become a Crusaders fan (they have enough of those already).

Aotearoa is the Maori name for New Zealand. This translates to the " land of long white clouds" Stewart Island has about 300 residents. Much less in the winter. There are fabulous bird preserves on small islands in a protected bay setting. Stewart Island is the smaller of three islands that makeup New Zealand. The North Island And the South Island are well known. Visiting this country should be on everyone's bucket list.

I have a pal who has been most everywhere. He agrees with you, Cutis, NZ is the place to be (Russia, according to him, is the other side of the spectrum)

I had a law school pal who told me at graduation he was skipping the bar exam. His fiance was from NZ, and, he was off, never to return. Tends sheep. Maybe some cute sheep.
