The ACC will become the 4th major conference to launch its own television network.  Like the SEC network, ESPN will be their production partner.  Digital programming will begin this year while the television side starts in 2019-20.  What's interesting is that the ACC will move to a 20 game conference season starting in 2019-20 in order to provide more inventory to the new venture.  This appears to be following a trend...Big 10 football increases to 9 conference games this upcoming season and I believe the Pac 12 already took that step.

Will be interesting to see if other conferences, particularly those without its own conference owned network like the A10, eventually move to a 20 game conference season.  My guess is yes as the power conference schools schedule fewer out of conference matchups.

Time for GW to resurrect Colonials Football, in time for the next wave of major conference expansion.  ACC would be a good fit. [yes I am dreaming but this is really just an intended distraction from the "Nice Publicity" thread]

May have to be Powderpuff or at least flag football to avoid any misimpressions of abuse.
